Schools Out

The last day of preschool was filled with fun activities. We did a little reviewing of letters, numbers and shapes inside and spent the rest of the day in the backyard having a field day. The kids loved it and it was lots of fun. It was not the normal preschool class, one little boy Gavin woke up sick that morning and could not come. We could not do all the games with just 3, so we invited over Caden Barr to join in on the fun. Here are some pictures from the last day.

Here they are trying to pop water balloons with their bums, none of them could pop them on their own. Finally Caden did and got so mad that he got wet. It was pretty funny. Eventually most of them gave up on popping them with their bums and went with the shoe, not Brooklyn though she was determined to play the game how it was supposed to be played and she just kept bouncing and bouncing on her balloons.

This is a picture of them trying to play Soccer. They had a good time kicking the ball, but their wasn't much soccer going on.

This was our outdoor art project for the day. I filled 4 squirt bottles with colored water and they spray painted their art.

Here are the four kids that were there that day.

We had a great time and did lots of other activities that I don't have pictured here. There was a race with the kids filling up cups with holes in them and racing to fill their buckets. They did really good and it was super funny to watch. We had a water balloon toss game with the parachute and they just loved to throw the water balloons and watch them pop. The last thing we did before everyone went home was have a treasure hunt through the house to find one last treasure that had a few little prizes for the kids to take home. I loved preschool this year and I was thankful for the time I had to spend with these fun little ones.
