Memorial Day at Landa Park

For Memorial Day we spent some time at Landa Park. We had a picnic in the back of our car because you have to pay $10 for a picnic table and lets face it we are cheap. Then we walked over to the boathouse and rented a paddleboat for a half an hour. It was a fun experience that Brooklyn said she really liked, but was happy when it was all done too. Then we headed back to where we were parked, fed some ducks along the way and just played in the grass. We had brought Brooklyn's Dora soccer ball and we kicked that around and tried to teach her how to play soccer on briefly. She was so upset we weren't playing it her way and she said she wanted to play by herself. So while she was playing soccer by herself Brad and I threw a frisbee around. After playing Brooklyn soccer by herself for awhile she decided it was okay if we played the real way. She also asked if she learned to play the real way, would we please put her in real soccer. We had a great time and are still debating the real soccer thing. Good thing it is summer and we don't have to make any decisions quite yet.
