"Really??"

Tonight as Brad was laying down with Lexi she asked Brad how old he was going to be tomorrow on his birthday.  He told her 37.  To which she responded, "Really?!?  You're not gonna be four or five like me?"

This kid cracks me up.  She was sick today but didn't want to miss out on a photo shoot I was having with Brooklyn.

Eight is Great!

Brooklyn turns eight in one week, so she had her baptism interview today.  Brad was able to sit in with her and was blown away by the insightful and knowledgeable responses our little girl provided.

She knows all of her articles of faiths and has them all memorized.  The bishop asked her to recite one and she recited the 13th:

"We believe in being honest, true, chaste, benevolent, virtuous and in doing good to all men; indeed we may say that we follow the admonition of Paul -- We believe all things, we hope all things, we have endured many things, and hope to be able to endure all things.  If there is anything virtuous, lovely, or of good report or praiseworthy, we seek after these things."

Bishop was truly amazed at her maturity and knowledge of the gospel and commented that she was the smartest eight year old that he had ever interviewed.

He asked her questions about tithing, the restoration, repentance, honesty, and baptism.

Afterwards, Brad took her for a walk to tell her how proud he was of her.  He said it was the proudest moment of his entire life.  At the end he picked her up and gave her a big hug.  Brooklyn said, "Please tell me I won't ever be too big for you to pick me up and give me a hug?!"
