The Little Things

I feel like life only gets busier, but taking time to enjoy the little things is therapeutic and heartwarming.

I love my little girls so much. These two beauties bring more joy to my life than I could have ever imagined. My two little things this week...

Brooklyn's lemonade stand. She invited a younger friend to help and made enough money to buy a "Rainbow Loom" she really wanted. Such a fabulous lesson about hard work and the value of a dollar. An added bonus, we have spent the last two nights making bracelets and spending great time together.

I was busy all day on Tuesday and Lexi was an angel. In the middle of it all she asked if we could make chocolate chip cookies for her friends. I stopped everything only to discover we were out of eggs. Daddy to the rescue, Brad brought some home after work and we made our cookies. I'm so glad I took the time to stop. While we were making them, Lexi said, "Mommy thank you for making cookies with me!"  Worth every second.

Sheer joy.

Mom Fun

I love that I have gotten to stay home with my precious daughters. I truly feel blessed to spend my day with my little treasure. Lately, Lexi and I have been going to Wiregrass Wednesdays. A local outdoor mall here has a children's entertainer, face painter, balloon artist and more each Wednesday for the kids free of charge. It has been so much fun to go with Lexi as a weekly date. I will always treasure these memories. Her favorite part of it is the face painting. Here's a month on the life.

We also saw this cool owl and so many other animals!

All Dolled Up

I took the girls to get there hair done at Sweet and Sassy yesterday. It is the cutest little salon for girls. Lexi was so excited to get her hair cut. Brooklyn loves all things girly and being pampered. They were so cute and so much fun. I love these two so much and I will be forever grateful for them!
